How to be a Trauma Informed Human

  • Aerial Function Centre UTS (map)

'How to be a trauma informed human' is a one-day leadership* intervention for organisations, teams and leaders looking to create psychologically safe cultures so people and productivity can flourish.

Being a trauma informed human asserts that developmental or 'small t' trauma shows up as how we adapt our behaviour unconsciously to stay relationally safe. That is is real, present in all people, organisations and cultures; and needs to be addressed and integrated from all parts of the organisation

+ Participants leave knowing:

  • what informs their relational and leadership style and how that has been shaped through lived experience.

  • the neurobiology of their autonomic nervous system and how it relates to their way they interact with people and belong in teams and cultures.

  • how productivity and retention are linked to our ANS.

  • how to practice self regulation in conversations that matter; and

  • implementable tools to live their lives wholeheartedly in all arenas.

This is one size-fits-one, strengths-based training intervention, acknowledging each person's unique capacities and experiences.

The focus is on growing personal agency, self - awareness, accountability and autonomy to lead with agility from all parts of your business, org company, startup, team and people no matter where and how you work. That is to say, if you identify as human, this training will be relevant to you!

+ Participants will safely and engagingly learn:

  • what is a trauma informed human and why does it matter?

  • how the autonomic nervous system rules behaviour - individually and collectively.

  • how authenticity is survival not an instagram hastag

  • how to create and maintain psychologically safe cultures.

  • recognising and managing state change in self and others duing feedback and necessary conversations.

  • Toolkit to operationalise learnings.
